Everyday I try to learn something new, which is not particularly easy because I have a very lofty image of myself.
Today I learned that the perfect dessert doesn’t only have sugar, it has to have salt as well. I had tried making caramel in the past and thought maybe salt was just for the caramel. As it turns out, banana pudding needs a certain amount of salt as well.
I’m not sure the concoction is working out as well as I had hoped, but hopefully the masses will disagree and finish it all. Otherwise I’ll have to figure out what I can bake with banana pudding.
